Abstract

This study aimed to introduce the future of distance education through extended reality applications, especially after the occurrence of many crises in the global community, such as the emergence of Covid 19, which halted studies for a long time. However, the distance learning system makes the educational process easier and at a lower cost, especially for parents or people who work full time.
Distance learning is a way to attend lectures without having to physically go to a lecture hall. Attendance is considered one of the most important applications in this field of virtual events, where a physical conference is taking place, and a virtual auditorium or virtual presence is permitted as part of the sessions.
Therefore, the researcher will use the Exploratory approach as the appropriate approach for the study in accordance with the research hypotheses and the aim of the research represented in understanding the relationship between the future of distance education through extended reality applications, which is a comprehensive term that includes both virtual reality (VR), Augmented (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR). We'll tackle each of them individually and outline some applications based on them to better understand the pros and cons.
